We use size #00 HPMC capsules, with each capsule containing approximately 0,5 grams of kratom. Please keep in mind that capsulated kratom takes a bit longer to dissolve than regular kratom.

We don’t include the weight of the capsules in your order amount. You will get exactly the amount of kratom you ordered. As a result, the content of a 100 gram package of kratom capsules weighs approximately 113 grams in total. 

What are HPMC capsules?

Although HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose) capsules are a little bit more expensive than gelatine capsules, we solely use HPMC capsules for our kratom. This is due to their numerous benefits over traditional, cheaply made gelatine capsules.

Origin

Originally from Thailand, Red Maeng Da is now mainly cultivated and harvested in Indonesia. The name "Maeng Da" originates from the Thai language, which translates to ‘pimp’, referring to a Thai slang-term for ‘pimp grade’, meaning it is of high quality.
